The concept behind Persuasive Bass lies in altering tape speed to mimic the natural velocity response of acoustic strings. By slowing down and speeding up tape recordings, Wrongtools created expressive pitch fluctuations that dynamically react to how hard or soft a note is played. The result is a bass sound with organic nuance and movement.
