Canvas Audio is offering 8K, a presence EQ/saturation plugin, for free for a limited time. It combines a fixed 8 kHz high‑shelf with subtle console input‑stage drive, giving vocals, snares, and guitars a forward, musical shine without getting brittle.
Console Presence With Subtle Drive
This is not just a fixed 8 kHz shelf. 8K also models the input stage of two classic consoles, so you get the density and push that happens before the EQ even engages. Use it as a gentle presence lift, as a tone move for added bite, or both. The overall feel is musical and quick: dial, listen, move on.
