W. A. Production is offering their Satyrus distortion plugin as a free download through BVKER until October 3, 2025. Previously priced at $39.90, Satyrus is a versatile saturation and distortion FX plugin that brings together eight distinct algorithms designed to add grit, character, and warmth to your audio.
A Closer Look At Satyrus
Satyrus isn’t just another distortion plugin. It’s built around eight different distortion/saturation types that range from subtle coloration to full-on audio destruction. Each module has a different personality, making it useful for everything from delicate vocal enhancement to brutal synth and FX mangling.
You’ll find options like:
- Power Distortion: heavy, aggressive, and loud
- Fresnel Distortion: flexible enough for most material
- Hyperbolic Overdrive: works great on FX with strong transients
- Logarithmic Coloration: ideal for brightening vocals
- Circular Projection & Cosine Modulation: rich, bass-focused options
- Satyric Crunch: a crunchy hybrid sound with a unique bite
The interface is intuitive, with real-time visual feedback, stereo/mono modes, and input-level-based intensity control. It’s light on CPU and responsive, so it won’t slow your sessions down.
