The Sound Ape is offering Trypticon Kontakt library by Sick Noise Instruments, normally priced at $47, completely free until June 30, 2025.
A Complete Creative Toolkit for Psytrance Producers
Trypticon is more than just a Kontakt library. It fuses the control of a synthesizer with the speed of a sample pack, offering a powerful hybrid instrument designed specifically for HiTech and Psytrance music. With over 100 ready-to-use sounds, producers can dive into full-scale sound design and performance with minimal setup.
Modular Interface for Advanced Sound Sculpting
Trypticon is structured into six core modules:
- Sound
- Filter
- Envelope (ENV)
- Delay
- Chorus
- LFO
This modular layout enables deep and creative processing while maintaining a fast and user-friendly interface. It’s ideal for crafting aggressive leads, eerie textures, or experimental FX with ease.
Unique Multi-Key Instruments for Performance
Trypticon stands out with three performance sections:
- Machine FX — Rhythmic, mechanical sound FX mapped across the keyboard
- Roboticon FX — Glitchy robotic textures perfect for dark, futuristic moods
- Robo Hits FX — Distorted hits, vocal stabs, and aggressive one-shots
Each key triggers a distinct sound, allowing real-time manipulation directly from your DAW’s piano roll.
Includes WAV Files for Maximum Flexibility
In addition to the Kontakt interface, all sounds are available in WAV format, making it easy to use them in any sampler or DAW.
Trypticon requires the full version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or newer. It will not work in Kontakt Player.
