Dart Spark has released Plateau 2, a free versatile and powerful plate reverb plugin for Windows and macOS. Designed as a standalone version of the open-source VCV Rack module Plateau by Valley Audio, Plateau 2 features an expanded dual-reverb architecture for immersive sound design.
Twice the Reverb, More Customization
Plateau 2 includes two independent reverb instances, or “tanks,” which can send signals between one another. This configuration creates complex and spacious reverb textures, perfect for enhancing depth and dimension in your mixes. Inspired by the well-known Dattorro plate reverb design, Plateau 2 brings new levels of flexibility to the classic formula.
Designed for Depth
Originally developed for modular synthesis within VCV Rack, Plateau is known for making dry, minimal sounds lush and immersive. Plateau 2 carries this tradition forward, delivering a broad range of reverb characteristics through extensive control parameters and routing options.
